Mainely Men 83 Workshops

We explored childhood messages about identity, examined guilt and shame carried into adulthood, and created a supportive space where men could feel accepted and celebrated.

  • Express Yourself Through Your Strengths – Use your strengths to understand what you enjoy and who you are becoming.
  • Guilt and Shame: Stop Living in the Past – Reframe unhealthy guilt or shame and begin living more fully in the present.
  • Know Yourself – Break harmful cycles and move toward your authentic self.
  • Stop Caring (So Much) About What Others Think – Face fears and practice honesty with the people closest to you.

  • Expressing the Artistic Self – Explore identity through creative expression.
  • Line Dancing – Beginner and intermediate sessions, with practice for the Saturday night cultural event.
  • Nature Walk – A relaxed walk through Pilgrim Lodge’s trails.
  • Tai Chi / Chi Gong – Martial‑arts‑based movements focused on power, balance, and full‑body engagement.
  • What Is Masculinity? – A continuation of the MM82 conversation, exploring personal definitions of masculinity.
